¡No puedo esperar a seguir explorando!

Saludos,

Juan

[English version]

Hi!

My experience in Los Angeles so far has been amazing. I couldn’t be happier.

As you know I’ve never been in the US and although I knew some things about this city I didn’t expected LA to be this big. This city is huge. There’re lots of things to do here and I am afraid that only one month won’t be enough to see everything.

Albert is our American English teacher and supervisor. He has taken us to visit so many places such as Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Universal Studios, etc. I’m making the most of this visit. There is no time to waste when you have the opportunity to visit such an amazing city. As Albert says: “This opportunity happens once in a lifetime”

Outfest HBO LA

On the other hand, I’m staying in a very nice house close to a neighborhood called Pasadena. This place is beautiful despite its location. We rented a car and for us it takes about 40 minutes to get to the city centre but staying in the valley feels calm and it’s good if you appreciate quietness so it may worth it. Maybe next year the house can be closer but by the moment I don’t really have any problem with this one.

Furthermore, we had the chance to met Justin and Gerardo from IT GETS BETTER PROJECT. They are very welcoming guys and they have been really kind with all of us. We’re very pleased to have them here.

This evening we’re going to the beach. I’m looking forward to visiting Santa Monica and Venice. I’m sure that the people who live there are awesome too.

I cannot wait to keep exploring!

Kind regards,

Juan.
